My flight was great.  Whoever had the seat next to me didn't show up, so I got a window seat AND an isle seat.  Pretty much first class right?  Also, there were a couple Argentine soccer players returning from Europe to go to training camp for the World Cup, which I thought was pretty awesome.  Unfortunately I didn't see Messi, but that's okay because he was painted on all the doors at the airport and was on half the billboards coming back into town.  If you thought the United States idolized any of our sports stars, Peyton Manning, Lebron, whoever; think again.
Customs and the taxi were also less stressful than I thought; the taxi driver didn't speak English, but I guess it helps that I could understand him.  My landlord also speaks way less Spanish than it seemed in my emails, and he seemed pretty confused about some of the stuff I was trying to explain to him.  It also doesn't help that Argentinians use many different vocabulary words than the Spanish we learned in school.  But it turned out fine.
My landlord forgot to give me the wifi password, which was pretty stressful.  I had told my family / Erika that I would text them when I got into my apartment, and 3 hours after I told them I would I still didn't have wifi.  It turned out later that I was able to send a text at the airport (which I thought didn't send), so luckily at least my parents knew I was alive.
Now I have wifi, and everything is good.  I think I have totaled 9 hours of sleep for the last two nights, but I'm going to try to stay up until a reasonable time so that I can synchronize with Argentina's schedule.  Really excited to explore tomorrow!
